Preparing Your Pharmacy Technician Resume


 

When you are looking forward to applying for a position as a Pharmacy Technician one of the first things you need to do is put together your Pharmacy Technician Resume.  Your resume is going to be the first and most important part of getting the jobs that you are applying for.  The reason that a resume is so important is because that is the first impression that a potential employer has of you, before even meeting you.

Taking the time to put together a resume is the first and most important step that you can take.  The first step in putting together a resume is to gather the information.  Having all of the information together will make it easier when you are trying to write you're resume. 

Start with getting the information for the schools that you have attended.  You will need the names, and dates that you have attended.  You will also need to have a list of all of the different organizations you are a member of and what those organizations do.  If you have received any awards, you will also need to make a note of that.  These are all important information that you need to include on a Pharmacy Technician Resume.

When putting together a resume you will also want to list any relevant work experience.  This is a great way of showing what you have for the company, and what you can do to help the company grow.  It is important to make sure that you have the companies name, the dates of employment and a list of your responsibilities.  It is also a good idea of keeping a list of all of your bosses, you might need that information.

When putting together a Pharmacy Technician Resume it is not a bad idea to include all of the different volunteer work that you do.  Showing that you are a well rounded individual is a great way to give potential employers an idea of the type of person that you are.

Once you have all of the information together, then it is time to put your Pharmacy Technician Resume together.  Make sure that you start off with your name, current address, a phone number, and it is a good idea to put an email address as well.  You will also need to take the time to organize the resume into categories, one for education, one for employment and one for volunteer work.  List all of the information possible.  Your resume needs to be a good summary of your qualifications, and what you have to offer potential employers.
